Aligned, for life.

Become aware of your body, feel strong form the inside out, and build long-lasting posture habits!

New 8-week course starts on Wednesday, Sept 20, 6:15pm

This is your sign to make a change

You've been struggling with that knee pain for a while now. Your lower back niggles are stressful, and your neck and shoulder...let's not even mention it! You've tried going to the gym but it's not helping and at times, it makes matters worse. You tried online videos but nothing seems to work.

Plus you just don't stick to it!

The issue is not what you do, but how you do it!

Aligned Pilates - More Than a Core Workout

This eight week course is so much more than jumping into a class where the teacher tells you what to do while you think about your daily to-do list. This is a way of moving that you have not thought of before. Detailed, careful, mindful, effective. This is a course that helps you build those great alignment habits that you can apply to everything in your life, from how you sit at your desk to how you run or walk your dog.

Where your body is in space matters

If you've ever attended an exercise class and experienced pain or discomfort, it's likely because your body wasn't aligned optimally for your joints and muscles. The way you align your body in space plays a crucial role in maximizing muscle engagement and minimizing the risk of long-term strain and potential injuries. This is precisely what we'll be delving into here. Through meticulous attention to detail and consistent weekly practice, you will develop new and healthier movement patterns for your body.

What's included in the 8-week course?

  • Tailored Alignment: If you're grappling with shoulder, neck, or back discomfort from office work, our alignment-focused approach will be a game-changer. Together, we'll address your unique needs, helping you move with ease and confidence.

  • Personal Guidance: Beyond the weekly session, I offer personal support and advice. Your well-being is my priority.

  • Holistic Empowerment: Aligned Pilates goes beyond physical movement. It's a practice that heightens your body awareness, strengthens your posture, and nurtures overall well-being.

  • Session Recordings: Life gets busy, and I understand that. All sessions will be recorded and made available for 72 hours so you can practice at your convenience without missing out on the guidance you need.

Q: Can I drop in for individual sessions?

A:  You can join the course at any time and access recordings of previous weeks to catch up. However, keep in mind that consistency is key to building lasting habits.

Q: What if I miss a week? Can I still enrol?

A: Absolutely! If you miss a week, don't worry. You'll receive access to the recording of that week's session, allowing you to catch up at your own pace. However, remember that your progress is directly related to your commitment, so it's advised not to skip a recording.

Q: How long will the recordings be available?

A: The recordings will be accessible until the end of the course, allowing you ample time to review and continue your practice.

Q: Can I join if I have injuries?

A: If you have existing injuries, it's essential to consult your physician or healthcare provider before registering for the course. Additionally, please reach out to me before enrolling so we can discuss any necessary modifications or accommodations.

Q: Can I join if I'm over 60 years old?

A: Absolutely! Age is just a number, and Aligned Pilates is for you. It's never too late to prioritize your well-being.

Q: Can I participate if I'm pregnant?

A: If you have a doctor's recommendation stating that you can engage in pilates, you're welcome to join. For postpartum participants, I recommend having a chat with me before enrolling to ensure we create a safe and suitable practice.

Q: Can I join if I've never done pilates?

A: Absolutely! This is the best thing you can do before trying a general Pilates class. This course will give you the foundations you need to fall in love with Pilates classes.

Q: Can I join if I feel very unfit? Is it a challenging workout?

A. Absolutely you can join and no it is not like a gym workout. This is a very slow, mindful type of movement, that does not feel too challenging in the moment but makes you feel so much stronger over time.
